Very clean and convenient to our work.

This is a stunning air bnb, we just had one disastrous night. All else was perfect except for the below. On Sunday afternoon there was a power outage and the generator turned on, blowing exhaust into the house. The CO alarm went off and a Hyatus rep advised that we silence the alarm and assured us that the generator didn't cause this issue. We ignored this advice and called the fire dept, who detected a dangerous level of CO from the generator. They shut off the generator and aired out the house for ~2 hours, and testing showed it was safe to stay. We spent the night without power, water, or wifi, and had spotty cell service. Air bnb reportedly told the owner there was no alternative place for us to stay. I asked the host for a 50% refund given the horrible experience. They kindly refunded one out of three nights. While this is not as large of a refund as I think is appropriate, I will let future potential guests decide for themselves whether they think this was handled appropriately.

Summary: Would go again, hoping for a better clean up prior to arrival. I liked: The location is absolutely perfect (near Yale Medical School). The bed was comfortable, all the equipment was fine. I did not like: I was sent a check in link, which I started to fill on the previous day. Upon arrival, ai tried to finish it but it froze. Someone promptly helped me via the chat but it did take some 20 mins to finally know where to park and to get the code to enter the building. The bed was clean but some surfaces were not completely clean (kitchen counter, bathroom floor). I found a used Kleenex under bedside table. Not great.

Perfect Location for all your Yale Visits

Regardless of the reason you're visiting the Yale, New Haven area this is a great base - parking (if you need), easy access to Yale whether walking or by car, and close to everything you need for a great stay. The suite is comfortably appointed and has great natural light, even on days that may seem dreary. Those big windows really help you feel like you're at home! Nicely appointed with everything you need for a quick stay or something longer. You can cook if you'd like, or get delivery in a safe experience. We've been staying at Hyatus properties for several years and they are always comfortable and the management staff is available if we need them.
